Prats & Symington was born in 1999 from a partnership between the Prats and Symington families. The joint venture between Bordeaux producer Bruno Prats, former owner of Château Cos d'Estournel and the family of the Douro's largest vineyard owners – 27 Quintas with approximately 1,000 hectares of vineyard and brands such as Graham's, Dow's, Warre's, Cockburn's, Quinta do Vesuvio and Altano – combines the traditions and knowledge of two of the world's greatest wine regions and applies this to the unique grape varieties and terroir of the Douro Valley.
